Champaign-Urbana’s Favorite Korean Food

There are a number of choices when it comes to delicious Korean food in Champaign-Urbana

Bibimbap, bulgogi and of course fried rice… when you’re in search of delicious Korean food in Champaign-Urbana, you won’t have to look far. From Campustown to North Prospect and all throughout Urbana, we have a number of options for you to choose from.

H Mart Bulgogi

Our options are pretty amazing, quite honestly. These places reflect the fact that Champaign-Urbana has a significant population of Koreans and Korean Americans, many of whom are affiliated with the University of Illinois.

Here are some of Champaign-Urbana’s favorite Korean restaurants.

Bab Plus, Urbana. Their fried rice is fantastic here, though you really can’t go wrong with what you order.

Bibibop, Champaign. This convenient North Prospect location features build-your-own-bowls so everyone can get something they love.

H-Mart, Urbana. This new Korean supermarket features a food court full of delicious Korean dishes. We’ve tried the bulgogi, bibimbap and wings, too.

Masijta Grill, downtown Urbana. An Urbana staple for years, they are known for having some of the best bulgogi around.

San Maru, Champaign. A great option for take-out, especially if you like incredible chicken wings. They also have incredible kimchi!

Spoon House, Campustown. Spoon House features Korean fusion, with Korean and Mexican cuisines meeting under one roof. Try the sweet and spicy chicken or their wonderful burritos.

Star BBQ, Savoy. A great option off-campus, Star BBQ has delicious food AND karaoke, too. How about that combination? Another popular spot for take-out with easy parking access in its Savoy location.

Did we miss your favorite Korean restaurant? Email us and tell us why you like it.
