Welcome to the chambanamoms event submission form! Our goal is to have the most complete calendar of family-oriented events in the Champaign-Urbana metro area. We welcome submission of events that are family-friendly, easy on the family budget (or even better, FREE!), and that are easy to attend without much advance planning.
Generally, our calendar focuses on fun, family-friendly events that cost less than $10 per person. Most events are free or minimal cost. Events should be open to the public and not require significant advance registration.
Submit your event by completing this form (PREFERRED and MOST EXPEDIENT) or email your information to events@chambanamoms.com (last resort). Submission does not guarantee inclusion, we reserve the right to reject any event for any reason, as well as to accept any event for any reason.
Please do not copy and paste from Facebook; it creates extra time from our team to reformat these submissions to display properly on our website. Copying and pasting from Facebook may cause a delay in publishing your event or rejection.
Your event will be published pending approval and timeline varies depending on volume of event submissions we are receiving.

Some helpful tips:
- Read some of our calendar listings before you submit.
- Make your event name unique. There are many Storytimes but not many “Toddler Storytime at the XYZ Public Library”
- For building name/location, use the name that’s on the sign out front.
- Please identify the age groups for which the event is appropriate.
- Include sources for more information such as phone numbers and/or websites.
- Include ticket prices and how to purchase them. Another must! If this event has a fee, we will not publish it without that information.
- You MUST submit text in the details section. Photo-only submissions will be deleted.
- Please identify the event sponsor and any other pertinent info. This is your place to shine! Be clever and clear to attract our audience to your event.

Upon submitting your event using this form, you’ll find information on an option to make your event stand out on our calendar by selecting a paid calendar upgrade package. This is simply another option you can use to promote your event beyond our basic calendar listings.
