Best Korean Food Best Korean Restaurants Champaign Urbana-

Maybe your favorite Korean dish is bulgogi. Or perhaps something like bibimbap. No matter the choice, we have plenty of options in Champaign-Urbana for Korean food. It’s pretty amazing, quite honestly. These places reflect the fact that Champaign-Urbana has a significant population of Koreans and Korean Americans, many of whom are affiliated with the University of Illinois.

Here are some of our readers’ favorite Korean restaurants:

San Maru, Champaign. Multiple mentions! “They made just being there a personal experience, always kind, and their takeout is wonderful too.” “The most incredible chicken wings.” “I love the kimchi.” “Sometimes, they provide chef’s special which is a must-try if you are a Korean food lover.”

Masijta Grill, downtown Urbana. “They are ammmmmmazing!!!!!” “We’ve been going there for years and love it.” “Excellent bulgogi.”

Seoul Mama, Bloomington. “If you can go outside of Chambana, drive 45 minutes and go to Seoul Mama. It’s amazing.”

Spoon House, Campustown. “When I was pregnant with my first daughter I was always craving Asian and Mexican. My friend turned me onto Spoon House on campus which is a Korean fusion place. they have these awesome burritos, so I got my Asian/Mexican fix all in one. Still is one of my go to places on campus.” “We love the sweet and spicy chicken at Spoon House.”

Star BBQ, Savoy. “It is excellent!!”
