BOOM! Champaign-Urbana loves fireworks, especially around the Fourth of July. That’s why we’ve created this list of upcoming Champaign-Urbana area fireworks displays on or around July 4. Fireworks for days and days!
Spectacular fireworks displays go up all around the Champaign-Urbana area. Some of our favorite shows to watch include Arthur’s Independence Day Freedom Celebration (the Saturday before the Fourth) and the Champaign-Urbana Freedom Celebration (actually on the Fourth).
This year, with the Fourth of July on a Sunday, your family could watch fireworks all weekend long.
If you are looking for a more extensive resource of Fourth of July events all over the Champaign-Urbana area including parades, festivals, and more, check out our Fourth of July events post. We have a list of what is open and closed on the Fourth of July coming soon.
Thanks to the U of I Meat Sales Room for presenting this list.
Meat & Egg Sales is an operation run by the Department of Animal Sciences and located on the University of Illinois campus in the Meat Science Lab. They offer fresh and frozen meat, bacon, sausage, eggs, and much more from the University farms for curbside pick-up several times a week; in-person sales re-open on July 2!
