Champaign-Urbana pool fans can start dreaming of warm summer days and secure their pool pass at a discounted rate for the upcoming season
Looking back on last summer, one of the highlights was fun in the sun with our families at area pools. This year, we are looking forward to summer fun at Champaign-Urbana area pools more than ever during the warm summer months. Enter: pool pass sales.

Sholem is jam-packed with features that are guaranteed to make a splash: a zero-depth pool with play-and-spray features, an 8-lane 25-yard lap pool, a kiddie pool with slide, a tube slide that’ll send you into the lazy river, and enclosed body slides (must be at least 42” tall to ride). Visit the concession stand with plenty of seating in the sun or shade. Pass holders can enjoy the facility all summer long for a great price.

Sholem Aquatic Center Pool Pass Sale
Again this year, pool passes are sold at a flat rate, whether you are a resident of Champaign-Urbana or not. The Champaign Park District has begun selling season pool passes to Sholem Aquatic Center at a discounted price and sale prices will continue through April 30. As in years past, a pool pass gets you admission to public swim hours, lap swim, the river run/walk, and Tiny Tots swim time for the youngest swimmers.
Sale Pricing (through April 30)
Pool passes are sold individually so you can customize to your family’s needs.
Youth passes: $50
Adult passes (age 18-54): $70
Senior passes (55+): $75
Children 2 and under: free admission
All swimmers ages 3 and up need a pool pass, but children 3 and younger are admitted for free.
As another option, if you have small children (2 and under only) and just one parent wants a season pass to take advantage of Tiny Tots swim time, you can get an individual pass for $80.
Also note that all pool passes are usually 50 percent off on or after July 5, 2026 (the summer halfway point, essentially).

Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center Pool Pass Sale
Urbana Park District’s pool pass sale is already happening. You can buy passes at the Phillips Recreation Center; sale runs through April 30.
Sale Pricing (through April 30)
Youth passes: $50 resident, $70 non-resident
Adult passes (ages 18-54): $75 resident, $133 non-resident
Senior passes (55+): $70 resident, $105 non-resident
Children 3 and under: free admission!
