Champaign-Urbana Weekend Planner - Fourth of July

The Fourth of July is finally here

Families can choose from many events and activities happening this weekend in Champaign-Urbana

The fireworks fun lasts all weekend long and we have you covered. We know fireworks are definitely top of mind, so we have included a schedule of all of the displays we know of this weekend right here for easy reference. Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Champaign-Urbana fireworks schedule July 4

Chambanamoms thanks Urbana’s Market at the Square for presenting this list. Market at the Square runs every Saturday through October, including this Saturday, July 4.

Urbana’s Market at the Square is the place to shop when you want to shop local. Each week the Market features fresh-picked fruits and vegetables (some grown within Urbana City limits), beef, pork, chicken, bison, eggs, fresh flowers, baked goods, and food trucks. The Market also features the work of local makers including jewelry, soap, candles, ceramics, and paintings. There are musical performers and activities for kids each week. Urbana’s Market at the Square is a producer-only market which means everything is grown, made, or produced in Illinois by the people who are selling it.

Champaign Park District

Discover the Power of Parks throughout July (July 1-31) with the Champaign Park District Play Passport! For the last 115 years, Champaign Parks have watched people just like you engage in connection, play, community, nature, belonging, and well-being. These experiences shape who we are and who we become. This July, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is highlighting the Power of Parks in honor of Park and Recreation Month. Champaign Park District is joining in on the fun, too, as a tribute to its 115th anniversary. Come on a journey to celebrate the transformative power of parks this July. Welcome to the Play Passport!
