Many Champaign-Urbana restaurants are offering Easter brunch options

We have compiled a great list of brunch spots in the Champaign-Urbana area where your family can relax and enjoy a delicious Easter feast on April 5. Reservations are recommended at many locations. All information included in this post was accurate at time of publishing and reflects a nod toward non-chain establishments.

Dine In Options
Baxters American Grille, Champaign: Serving brunch on April 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Whether you’re craving sweet, savory, or something in between, Baxters has your taste buds covered. $49 for adults, $21 for kids 12 and under. Be sure to make a reservation online; just a few spots at the end of the day remain.
Big Grove Tavern, Champaign: Big Grove Tavern will offer its full brunch from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. It is highly recommended to make a reservation (inside or on the patio if the weather is nice) here or by calling (217) 239-3505.

Big Thorn Farm & Brewery, Georgetown: Big Thorn has a special Easter brunch menu from The Truck, its on-site food truck, along with hand-crafted beer and beermosas. No reservations needed, plenty of outdoor seating available, more info on Facebook.
Firefly Grill, Effingham: If you’re up for an hour-long drive south, then Firefly Grill is the place to be on Easter. Serving from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Reservations are HIGHLY encouraged as it is one of its busiest days of the year. It will be serving full three-course brunch, plus some specials. Reserve your table online.

Harvest Market Farmhouse Restaurant, Champaign: Come enjoy the brunch buffet on Easter Sunday at Harvest Market. The usual Sunday buffet includes classic brunch items like eggs and waffles, but Easter usually features in-house smoked salmon, carving station, and a huge assortment of baked goods. Sip on complimentary water, iced tea and lemonade, or order a special beverage from the Mezzanine Bar (mimosas, local beer, and spring cocktails). The buffet will be first come, first serve and dine-in only. No reservations will be accepted.
Lazy Daisy Diner and Cafe, Urbana: Open full service hours 7:00am-3:00 p.m. on Easter. They do not take reservations but it’s recommended to sign up on the waitlist via the website. You will be alerted by text that your table is ready.
Neil St. Blues, Champaign: For $40/person, enjoy Easter Brunch Buffet from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Official seatings all day long.; walk-ins welcome after 3:30 p.m. Buffet includes all you can eat chicken and waffles, honey glazed salmon, biscuits and gravy, honey glazed ham, sage cornbread dressing, candied yams and so much more. Make your reservations now.
Silvercreek, Urbana: Serving an Easter brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults are $49 and children 3-12 are $21 (plus tax). Reservations are highly recommended; this brunch always fills up fast. Call the restaurant at (217) 328-3402 to reserve your seating. Editor’s note: Easter kicks off the return of the famous Silvercreek brunch, which will be happening weekly on Sundays following Easter.

Carry Out Option
Piato Catering, Urbana: Easter meals available including pork loin, ham, parmesan spinach gnocchi, sides, veggies, desserts, bread and more. Meals must be preordered by April 1 and picked up on April 4.
