Step into the World of the Wicked

Necrosis Haunted House is a haunted attraction located in East Central Illinois featuring many highly detailed, immersive sets that utilize live actors, professional sound, lighting, and special effects to scare and entertain all who enter.

Necrosis was named a Top Ten Haunted House (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) by HauntedIllinois.com. They enter their eighth season of fear in 2026 and invite you to experience their best show yet.

Haunted Houses (and other scary outings) near Champaign-Urbana

Clinton’s Terror On Washington St Haunted House: This Haunted House in Clinton is open weekends in October starting Oct. 9. Find kid-friendly ghost tours during special matinee hours.

Downs Haunted House: Head west on I-74 toward Bloomington about 40 minutes. Every Friday and Saturday in October from 7-11 p.m., tickets are $16. Online tickets available, too. Catch the Unhaunted House for younger patrons on Nov. 1.

Harvest Moon Twin Drive-In Annual Frightfest (and related events): Held many weekends during September and October, some weekends feature super-scary films and others are family-friendly. Get tickets ahead of time here.

Farmer City Haunted Forest: The Farmer City Haunted Forest is a haunted adventure through the Salt Creek Campsites, located in South Park just south of Farmer City. Free and opens Oct. 10, 7-10 p.m. There is also a “less scary” matinee version and some special events. See all the info here.
