2019 was a pretty big year for Chambanamoms.com … we hit double digits — 10 years old! We couldn’t have done it without the support of our community and we want to celebrate with you.
We hope you will join us at a food repack event at the Eastern Illinois Foodbank in Urbana. Similar in format to the Foodbank’s date-night repacks, our celebration will feature time for volunteerism as well as time for visiting with friends. We’ll take a stroll down memory lane, remembering the past 10 years and looking forward to many more. With wine and cake, of course!
Sign up for a packing shift from 6-7 p.m. using this link. You must register in order to ensure accurate counts of foods and materials. Please note that this repack is for grown-ups only. (Be on the lookout for a family-friendly opportunity to celebrate our 10th birthday with the whole family to be announced soon.) After you complete your repack shift, plan to enjoy complimentary wine (courtesy of Binny’s Beverage Depot), snacks and cake with the chambanamoms team.
A $5 donation to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank is required to secure your reservation for the repack. Your support puts food on tables and smiles on faces throughout the year. If you are unable to attend the event, but would still like to donate to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank, you may do so through the ticketing link.
