As we know Champaign-Urbana is a very transient community. Many of us are from other parts of the state, the nation, even the world.
For many, Thanksgiving can be an isolating time, regardless of our ability to put a feast on the table. Some have to work that day, making it impossible to travel to family; others simply can’t afford to leave.
So if you don’t have a place to go on Thanksgiving, don’t fret. There is one communal option, plus we’ve provided a short list of restaurants serving Thanksgiving meals in Champaign-Urbana. (Our list includes restaurants that are actually serving traditional Thanksgiving menus; other restaurants may be open as well.)
