Join in the 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta at Middle Fork Campground!
Get ready for an unforgettable day of creativity, fun, and fierce competition at this Cardboard Boat Regatta on Saturday, August 30th!
Event Schedule:
– Boat Construction: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
– Dive into the challenge! Build your very own boat using provided cardboard and tape—supplies are limited, so get here early!
– Registration & Boat Inspection: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
– Make sure your boat meets the requirements! Get registered and have your creation inspected before you hit the water.
– Boats may be built prior but must pass inspection upon arrival. Pre-made boats must arrive by 2:30p.
– Races Begin: 3:30 PM
– It’s race time! Watch as your masterpiece takes to the water, battling the waves and fellow competitors for victory!
Materials:
They will have the essentials covered—cardboard, duct tape, packing tape, rope, and string. Bring your ingenuity and team spirit to craft a boat that’s ready to race!
