The Horizon Hobby RC Fest is returning in 2026 as the premier event in the radio control (RC) community.
Located at the world-famous Eli Field in Monticello, Illinois, Horizon RC fest is the largest hands-on RC event in the world! This incredible one-day event celebrates everything RC including radio-controlled cars, trucks, airplanes, helicopters, and drones.
It is perfect for the whole family and designed to be the ideal introduction to hands-on radio control driving and flying. This one-day spectacle encourages attendees to fly, drive, and race with enthusiasts from across the country.
Food vendors, demos, and incredible RC Air shows throughout the day all come together for a spectacular event for everyone.
Event Features Include
• Interactive try-me activities with RC NASCARs, crawlers, monster trucks and planes
• Thrilling Airshows with acts from all around the globe, including a night airshow to cap off the event
• ARRMA RC Long Jump World Championship Event
• Food and beverage vendors
• Product displays, giveaways, sales, and specials
Gate opens at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 29th and wrap up after the night airshow around 9 PM.
Parking is $10 per car and comes with a $15 dollar coupon for the on-site hobby shop!
