Need unusual, exciting, and inexpensive ideas for family fun this summer? During the June 7 weekend, head to Eli Field in Monticello, Illinois, for RC Fest! Sponsored by Horizon Hobby, RC Fest celebrates the radio-control hobby with fresh-air activities for all ages. Watch the world’s best RC modelers put on breathtaking demonstrations of scale race cars, rock crawlers, drones, helicopters, aerobatic aircraft, high-speed jets, and more. At night, enjoy the unforgettable spectacle of a sky filled with LED-illuminated aircraft. “Try-Me” tents give you and your family the chance to become RC drivers and pilots. RC Fest is the largest gathering of its kind in the Midwest, drawing over 4700 people last year.
