Every student deserves a memorable prom experience. The reality is that many LGBTQIA+ students don’t feel safe or welcome at their school’s prom and they want to change that.
On May 8th, Uniting Pride is hosting their annual free Queer Prom for students ages 13-18. This year’s theme is Villain Era and they’re inviting every young person to show up as their most dramatic, glamorous, unapologetically villainous self.
Queer Prom is a safe, affirming, and joyful space where LGBTQ+ youth can dance, socialize, and just be themselves.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Live music & DJ
- Drag performance
- Costume Contest: Individual & Group categories. Classic villain or original creation
- Face painting & makeup artists
- Low-stim room available all night
