The ceremony will include the singing of the National Anthem by Brandon Miller, the Pledge of Allegiance by Parkland Advisor and Navy veteran Tony Hooker, a welcome by Parkland President Pam Lau, and the presentation of campus veterans and order of service by Admissions Associate and Navy veteran Maurice Taylor.
Parkland alumnus and Army veteran Robbie Walker will serve as the featured guest speaker. Guests will also observe a moment of silence with the playing of “Taps.” Hooker will provide closing remarks.
Please remember that events may be canceled or rescheduled last minute due to unpredictable weather or other factors. We encourage you to reach out to event organizers before heading out to an event to verify it is still happening.
