This year marks a huge milestone — 25 years of holiday magic sparkling through Downtown Champaign! The 2025 Parade of Lights theme is Silver Bells: 25 Years of Holiday Cheer and they are pulling out all the stops to celebrate our community, our small businesses, and the joy of the season.
The Parade of Lights begins at 5:00 p.m. and will feature dazzling floats, enchanting performances, and visits from beloved holiday characters. Expect dazzling lights, marching bands, decked-out floats, and of course—Santa himself bringing the holiday spirit down Neil Street!
The event highlights the importance of shopping local this holiday season, emphasizing the role small businesses play in creating a thriving, vibrant community.
