Classrooms are just around the corner – head to Dick’s House of Sport as the community gears up for a PAWSitively stress-free school year!
In honor of National Assistance Dog Day, youth of all ages are invited to meet Kirby from the University of Illinois Police Department program, I-PAWS (Providing Assistance With Support), through therapy dogs.
The meet & greet comes just in time for back-to-school stress relief! Participants can interact with the K9, learn about their support, snap a Polaroid with the pup, and take home some back-to-school goodies! The event is free to the public!
