What is Holi? Holi is an exciting Indian festival celebrating the liveliness of Spring! As one of the most fun filled and enjoyable Indian festivals, the celebration of Holi uses colors to reflect and represent this vibrant season. Come color your friends before they color you!
About Them: Asha for Education is 100% volunteer run, low overhead, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to bringing socioeconomic change in India through education of underprivileged children. If you’re riding with MTD to this event, please remember to bring a fresh set of clothing to change into afterward as those who are covered in powder will not be able to board. MTD is a proud sponsor of ASHA’s annual Holi and values the vibrance it brings to our campus community but encourages us to keep transit clean and accessible to other customers.
PLEASE READ BELOW AS TICKET INSTRUCTIONS HAVE CHANGED FROM PREVIOUS YEARS
During the week before the Holi event, Asha team will be handing out wristbands to everyone with a VALID QR CODE. This will serve as your proof of purchase from the website. The wristband will serve as you entry to the event, not the QR code itself. We will share specific pickup instructions through our instagram @ashauiuc and our website so please be on the lookout.
