The Earth Day theme for 2024 is “Planet vs. Plastics.” Join in to explore what this means for us. The group will follow the Inquiry Cycle: tuning in, finding out, sorting out, going further, making conclusions, and taking action…to find real ways to realize our collective goal: “60% reduction in the production of all plastics by 2040”—that’s just 16 years away! How old will you be in 2040?
Recommended age: 7 and up (or 23+ in 2040 age).
Adults welcome, and Science and Social Studies teachers/students are especially encouraged!
