Veterans Day is Nov. 11. Carle Health honors its many team members who are veterans and all veterans. Carle Health will have flag-raising ceremonies at all eight of its hospitals this year.
“Some will be simple, solemn flag-raisings. Others will be ceremonies with prayers and remarks. All are open to the public and will honor our veterans and our flag and everything for which they stand,” Dr. Leonard said.
Carle Foundation Hospital, 611 W. Park St., Urbana, at the Heart and Vascular Institute entrance.
The ceremony will include remarks by a Carle Health veteran team member, a flag-raising and participation by Color Guards of the American Legion or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
