WHY: The public is invited as Urbana School District #116 celebrates the start of Black History Month.
The annual event honors the legacy of Urbana School District’s former Parent and Community Outreach Liaison and dedicated Urbana community advocate Janice Mitchell. There will be children’s activities beginning at 3 p.m. with the program starting promptly at 3:30 p.m.
