Willard Airport in Savoy will be available for interviews as flyers continue the process of obtaining Global Entry status.
In-person interviews will be conducted July 28-30 at Willard. The event allows conditionally approved applicants to complete the mandatory in-person background interview without traveling to a permanent enrollment center.

To begin the enrollment process for Global Entry — a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows for expedited clearance for pre-approved travelers — an applicant must create a Trusted Traveler Programs account with the Department of Homeland Security. Complete the application and pay the non-refundable fee. Then wait for conditional approval; if the background check is clear, and the account status has changed to “conditionally approved,” the applicant can then schedule the Willard interview, which can be accomplished by logging into the TTP account, search for appointments for the dates of July 28-30, and select Willard Airport/Savoy.
Interviews will take place in the second floor conference room from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Free parking is available in the main airport lot for the first two hours. Applicants should bring a valid U.S. passport and a driver’s license, ID card or permanent resident card.
