The temperature keeps rising outside and we are here with ideas to stay cool while we head towards the very heart of summer. Chambanamoms thanks Champaign County Master Gardeners for presenting this weekend’s planner

Discover fresh ideas and beautiful landscapes at the Champaign County Master Gardeners’ annual Garden Walk. This year’s theme, A garden for everyone, celebrates the ways gardens welcome and connect people and communities. The self-guided tour will take place on Saturday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring six private home gardens and two public gardens throughout Champaign County. Whether you’re an experienced gardener, a new homeowner, or enjoy spending time outdoors, the Garden Walk offers inspiration for all.

Tickets are $10 and free for children 10 and under. Advance tickets are available at Country Arbors Nursery in Urbana (1742 CR 1400 N) and Prairie Gardens in Champaign (3000 W. Springfield Ave.), by calling the University of Illinois Extension office at 217-333-7672, or online at go.illinois.edu/GardenWalk.
