An appearance by “Hamilton” star Renee Elise Goldsberry with the Illinois Wind Symphony highlight’s the 57th season of the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
The schedule, announced Monday, includes the regular staples like the Krannert Center Youth Series, comprised of seven performances for kindergarten through 12th grade students. It includes KODO, STEP AFRIKA!, Cirque Mechanics and the Honolulu Theatre for Youth, among others.

Goldsberry, who played Angelica Schuyler in the original Broadway production of Hamilton, will appear Thursday, March 25, in Foellinger Great Hall. The Tony- and Grammy-winning Goldsberry also has Broadway credits in “The Color Purple,” “The Lion King” and “Rent,” along with roles on television and film that include “Ally McBeal,” “One Life to Live” and “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.” She’s a three-time Emmy Award nominee.
The Youth Series begins Oct. 1. These free performances happen at Stage 5 in the Krannert lobby on select Thursdays from 5:30-7 p.m.

Tickets for all 2026-27 performances at Krannert will be available to Marquee Circle members on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. Loop members may purchase tickets on Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available to the public on Aug. 13 at 10 a.m.
The Opening Night Party is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3. The popular Pygmalion festival is Sept. 24-26.
