What a strange weather month. What mostly felt like summer, now seems like it wants to slide into fall, but time will tell if we feel that “officially fall” feeling or not. Ready or not, here comes October, and with it comes everything Halloween, pumpkins, football and fall festivity. Check out our list of Halloween events and activities, as we will be talking about these more and more every week throughout October (but you can begin planning now).

SafeWorks Illinois

Kick off the Halloween season with a fun-filled morning the whole family will enjoy! SafeWorks Illinois invites you to their Trunk or Treat, featuring candy, games, face painting, caricatures, and exciting giveaways. The Kona Ice Truck will also be on-site with refreshing, icy treats to make the day even sweeter.

This event is free and open to the public. Costumes are encouraged but not required—whether you come dressed up or as you are, everyone is welcome. Bring your kids, friends, and family for a safe, exciting way to celebrate Halloween right here in Champaign.
