Arcola Broomcorn Festival
Visit Arcola on September 5 – 7 for the Broomcorn Festival. Celebrating their 54th year, they are packing it all into three full days! Food and street vendors will line their historic brick streets in downtown Arcola. Make sure to visit the Broom tent while in town for your locally made broom and broom making demos!
The National Broom Sweeping Contest kicks off the festival on Friday. Saturday starts with the 5k/10k race and then the huge parade starts at 3 p.m. Come back Sunday to enjoy a FREE concert with AGT winner Richard Goodall on the Oak St. Stage.
