It is that time of year – the fair is about to begin!
Families can choose from many events and activities happening this weekend in Champaign-Urbana
There are many events throughout the year that punctuate a family in Champaign-Urbana’s experience when it comes to family fun and the Champaign County Fair is certainly on that list. We will feature a number of events below that are NOT tied to carnival rides, funnel cakes or demolition derbies but know that we are SO excited that the fair has made its way to town!
Don’t overlook the daytime experience at the Champaign County Fair and head out during the day to watch some of the livestock shows while grabbing food from your favorite stands, too.

Chambanamoms thanks the Champaign County Forest Preserves for presenting this guide.
Summer Splash features a variety of activities including fishing, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boats, educational exhibits, live fish with Illinois Department of Natural Resources, live music, and more! All FREE, no registration required.
