This weekend is an exciting one… our children KNOW that school is about to wrap up! Next week is filled with field days, popsicles, scavenger hunts, parties on the pavement and so much more. While you’re having some fun this weekend, it is a good chance to make those summer bucket lists or take a peek at how your summer calendar is shaping up. Because when you hear from us next week, we will be all about pool openings, the Memorial Day long weekend and “flipping the switch” to literally EVERYTHING summer! We can hardly wait!

Chambanamoms thanks Champaign Public Library for presenting this weekend’s planner

Come out to the Champaign Public library on Sunday, May 18, from 12-3 p.m. to celebrate summer and kickoff the Oceans of Possibilities! Summer Reading Challenge.

This all ages, drop-in event includes family-friendly Bingo, virtual reality stations, ocean-themed crafts for the kids, and giveaways in the lobby! Check out the 8,000-square-foot creative space in The Studio from 12-6 p.m. and enjoy 50% off Kids & Teen titles at the FriendShop Bookstore open 12-4 p.m. for the event.

Plus, sign up for the Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Challenge (May 15-Aug 15) for kids, teens, and adults. You can win prize books and more!
