St. Patrick’s Day Events in Champaign-Urbana

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Champaign-Urbana

We compiled a bunch of fun ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Champaign-Urbana

For what traditionally is a “holiday” marked by green beer and shamrock tees, there happen to be many community events — many of which are FREE and some of which are family-friendly — around St. Patrick’s Day throughout Champaign-Urbana.

Some events require pre-registration; please double-check the details to see if that is the case for the event you are planning to attend.

A few things to keep in mind. While some of the events listed below are “kid-friendly” events, they may still be held in locations where adult beverages are being served. And some of the events happen “after hours” and are not recommended for kids at all.

In case you needed the reminder, St. Patrick’s Day is actually March 17 every year, regardless of the day of the week when it falls. However, many St. Paddy’s Day themed events happen before and even after that.
