Featured Event – CU Pride Fest
Uniting Pride of Champaign County presents the CU Pride Fest, September 24 to October 2. With programs all over Champaign, Campustown, and Urbana, there’s something for everyone: entertainment, education, parties, art, with programs for adults, and for youth and families. Don’t miss this signature Pride Parade and Fair in downtown Urbana on Saturday, October 1. LGBTQIA+ folks and allies alike, come on down and show your pride. Register Now – Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation 5K Run/Walk
Northwestern Mutual – Central Illinois is helping Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! They will host a 5K Run/Walk event at Lake of the Woods in Mahomet on October 9. The race will start at 10 a.m.
You can support this cause by participating in the event or by making a donation. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.
The 5K run/walk is a $40 participation fee. There will also be a kids dash! This race is a $25 participation fee.
Register here! Today, the money you donate has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of kids with cancer (and their families). Your donation will fund research into safer, more effective treatments and cures.

This Halloween Season, Slayerville Productions Presents Baldwin Asylum Haunted Attraction “Ten Years of Fear!” Challenging its customers to survive sheer terror as it enters its 10th and final season, the Asylum opens Friday, Sept. 30, and continues weekends through the first weekend in November.
