After a hiatus in 2020, the Nutcracker performances at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts are coming back
The Champaign-Urbana Ballet is already at work preparing for this year’s Nutcracker performances and you can get tickets now
While we were missing a number of our favorite family holiday traditions in 2020, anticipation is growing for this year’s holiday season as many of these favorites make their much-awaited return. Some of these ticketed events are expected to sell out more quickly than usual this year, and the Nutcracker performances at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts are no exception.
Mark those calendars for Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. to log on and get first dibs on tickets for 2021 performances. Tickets go on sale at that time through the Krannert website.
Visit the Krannert website and its online ticketing portal to create an account, and make sure you are able to log in prior to October 5.

- Thursday, Dec. 2, 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 4, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 5, 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

General admission: $48
Non-U of I college students: $29
Youth, 12 and under: $19
