The State Farm Center will once again host the Harlem Globetrotters, as the world-famous basketball troupe will bring its Spread Game Tour to Champaign at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7.
The newly reimagined tour will visit more than 200 cities starting on Dec. 26. The event features “ankle-breaking moves, jaw-dropping swag, and rim-rattling dunks,” according to Globetrotters publicity. “Part streetball from players who defined it, part interactive family entertainment, the new tour will show off the best of the Globetrotters in a dazzling exhibition of talent and game.”
The Spread Game Tour introduces new premium fan experiences with unprecedented access and interaction, including celebrity court passes, meet and greets with players, and the #SQUADZONE, where fans have the opportunity to feel like part of the show.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Oct. 5 at StateFarmCenter.com, over the phone at 866-ILLINI-1, or at the Illinois Ticket Office at State Farm Center.
