Monticello Railway Museum announces that Polar Express 2021 tickets will go on sale in September
The popular holiday train rides, greatly missed in 2020, will be back this year
It’s a tradition many area families know all too well. No, not the actual train ride itself, but setting the alarm for 11:55 p.m. the night Polar Express tickets are going on sale for the year. Typically, this happens in June each year but the Monticello Railway Museum has announced that ticket sales will be happening in September this year.
With the uncertainties of operating a large event this year we have decided to postpone the ticket sale date. Tickets will go on sale in September. Look for further updates from us on schedules and fares later this summer. Our The Polar Express™ Train Ride information page: https://www.mrym.org/polar-express

While a number of uncertainties still remain about what the Polar Express will be like in 2021, we are excited that plans appear to be in the works to keep this annual holiday tradition alive for Champaign-Urbana area families.
