Have you spent many frustrating nights trying to do math homework with your child? Or is your child so talented in math that she loses interest in class? The tutors at Illini Tutoring want to help your child build confidence in themselves and develop a love for math.
Children entering second through fifth grades will love Math Explorers*, a program that meets twice a week from June 3 to July 26. Young students meet one-on-one with Mikaela, our elementary math specialist, who will guide children through activities that re-enforce what they’ve already learned and prepare them for next year.
Students entering sixth grade and above will benefit from our Summer Math Enrichment Program*. This program meets twice a week from June 10 to July 19. Students meet with either Elizabeth or Taso, who have years of experience tutoring math from pre-algebra to Calculus II. Their expertise helps students fill in any gaps they might have their knowledge of math, then gives them the tools to excel at the next level. Each student’s program is tailored to their current math level and the math class they’ll be taking next year. We have also helped many students successfully prepare for the SSAT exam (the entrance exam for Uni High School).
