Merge your love of the outdoors with a love reading at the Walker’s Book Club at Urbana Park District.

The club will meet the first Saturday of the month at Meadowbrook Park at the Race Street Entrance. The club will walk for a half hour and then each can share the book they are reading (good and bad!) and recommend different books to the group. The park district will offer free lemonade or hot cocoa.

The club runs from 9 – 10 a.m., the first Saturday of the month through April. While free, registration is encouraged so we know how many to prepare for.  Click here to register online in advance.

Call Kern at (217) 255-8601 for more information. Everyone is welcome!

Please remember that events may be canceled or rescheduled last minute due to unpredictable weather or other factors. We encourage you to reach out to event organizers before heading out to an event to verify it is still happening.
