Throw on your best rainbow gear, grab the whole family, and enjoy a mix of offerings and experiences going on throughout the day on Sunday, June 12.

1:30pm – DJ Silkee, bubbles, face painting, arts & crafts, and HITNHOMEBOY’s Young, Queer + Black Book Drive
2pm – Drag Story Time presented in partnership with Urbana Free Library
3:30pm – Drag Show featuring Karma Carrington, Mr. Knightly, Ceduxion Carrington, Just Sue, Cationna Carrington, and Corinna Carrington
6pm – Emily The Band

HITNHOMEBOY’s BOOKS 2 THE BLOCK SUMMER 2022 INITIATIVE is the YOUNG, BLACK + QUEER Book Drive: The YB+Q Book Series is dedicated to ensuring the distribution of literature written by Black + Queer authors, enhancing the knowledge of LGBTQ historians, and engaging the imagination for more inclusive spaces while elevating proficiency skills.

The Literary in downtown Champaign stocks all these books and is Uniting Pride’s local retail partner in this book drive. Pop on down there before heading to the event, snag up a book or 6, and bring them to Rose Bowl!
