Join in to kick off the 2025 season with a lively all-comers match! Whether you’re a seasoned ballist or have never played a day in your life, all are welcome to take the field and experience base ball as it was meant to be—the 1850s way! No gloves, no experience needed—just a love for the game and a spirit for fun!
📍 Where: Colbert Park, Savoy, IL (Follow the park entrance road straight to the open grass field. Parking available in the lot or along the street.)
|📅 When: First match begins at 11 AM, with a second match to follow after a short break.

During the intermission, young fans will have a chance to interact on the field with vintage players in a safe, controlled setting before play resumes.
Vintage base ball is a living history experience, bringing the game’s earliest days to life with the rules and customs of the mid-19th century. The Champaign Clippers proudly play as members of the Vintage Base Ball Association (VBBA).
