Join Miss Jeannette and the Tolono Public Library for their fantastic annual Summer Reading Program Kickoff Event! During this program, you will get to make two fun and colorful craft projects that celebrate kindness and friendship. Kindness rocks are rocks with bright designs and words that encourage others. You will get to keep one and then bring one back to the library to have it displayed for the summer! You will also get to make two “friendship lanterns” using small glass jars, glue, colored tissue paper squares, and battery-operated tea light candles. Keep one (or give it to a friend) and bring the other one back to the library – they will send it to their friends at Arbour Rose in Tolono to brighten their days and nights!
Craft supply packets available for pick-up at the library from May 29-June 5 (while supplies last).
To register for any of these fantastic programs, email the Tolono Library’s Program Coordinator at “firstname.lastname@example.org“. Be sure to include the program that you are interested in, and the name that you plan to log into the program with!
