Design your own wellness-themed cross stitch project
Join Lisa Connery from Crass Stitching for a two session class for intermediate cross stitchers. In this class you will learn some pattern-making basics and build your cross stitch skills. And, of course, you’ll also get a chance to enjoy the company of other stitchers!
The theme of the projects will be taking care of your mental wellness. You’ll make your own design, based on your ability and with your own self-designed wellness message. Session one will show you how to create patterns on graph paper and will discuss pattern making software. In session two the group will stitch together and troubleshoot any issues that come up while trying to create these masterpieces!
– Registration is required for this Zoom program. (Registration opens on January 1) Register here for January 14 and here for January 21.
– At registration you can let us know if you need hoop/cloth/needles/thread/graph paper (available for 15 participants).
– You will receive an email letting you know that you can come pick up supplies at the library’s Curbside delivery.
