The Repair Café is a plsce where you can come and have volunteers help you repair any household items that need fixed. You can bring clothes that need mending, kitchen appliances (such as toasters, blenders, stand mixers, and coffee machines), small electronics (such as flashlights, lamps, or laptops), yard care equipment (leaf blowers, string trimmers, edgers and the like), small furniture (coffee table, chair) or pretty much anything else.
Owners of broken items will be paired with a mentor who will help you repair their object. The mentor can do the parts that you are not comfortable doing and explain the process as they go.
It is open to everyone and the only cost is a voluntary donation so they can cover the cost of tools and materials and remain sustainable.
So drop by, keep them company, pick up some engineering skills, get something fixed, help someone fix something or all of the above!
