The University of Illinois is conducting a research project on the migration and behavior of owls in central Illinois. This research project, which is also a field experience course, will involve capturing and tracking Northern Saw-whet Owls. The public is invited to see owls up-close on November 9th. Attendees will learn about owl ecology and behavior, and what it takes to help conserve these unique species. Recommended for ages 5 and up. FREE. Space is limited.
