The Douglas County Museum Association invites you to a free program on Saturday, November 15th at 2:00 p.m.
Guest speaker Jamie Poorman, head librarian at the Marshall Public Library and an Illinois Road Scholar, will share the remarkable story of the orphan train movement, which placed more than 250,000 children with families across the United States between 1854 and 1929.
Come learn more about this fascinating time in American history.
