Kids and their families can drop by the nature center to discover self-guided activities just for little naturalists. Your adventures may lead you outdoors as weather permits, so come prepared! Each week brings a new nature-related theme.
This Friday, celebrate the halfway point of winter when the days start to lengthen- and certain groundhogs start looking for their shadows. Enjoy a shadow theater with plenty of dress-up options, as well as an overhead projector station for taking small shadows and making them huge! Or stick to the light side of the room and make a groundhog puppet who pops out of its underground winter den. There will be storybooks to share too.
