Get ready to wiggle, giggle, and buzz your way through a magical morning at The Hive! Through storytelling, movement, and imaginative play, children will discover how bees, flowers, and sunshine work together to help gardens grow & food reach our tables. Then take home a little honey stick as a sweet reminder of the quiet kindness bees offer with the diligent work they do.

National Pollinator Week:

In 2007, National Pollinator Week was officially declared by the U.S. Senate in order to recognize the importance of pollinators to ecosystem health and agriculture and to support efforts to increase awareness about pollinators!

Did you know, bees are the most efficient of all the pollinators on Earth! A single honeybee can visit thousands of flowers in one day, and a healthy hive works together like a living ecosystem, each bee playing a role that supports the survival of the whole.

But, pollinators need help! Habitat loss, pesticides, and changing climates are making it harder for these tiny workers to thrive. When you plant flowers, support local beekeepers, and learn about pollinators, you help protect the very systems that feed and sustain everyone.

This whole week they are partnering with those in the community to highlight these wonderful creatures and the importance they play in our lives. They have three community classes they are offering including this one.

Please remember that events may be canceled or rescheduled last minute due to unpredictable weather or other factors. We encourage you to reach out to event organizers before heading out to an event to verify it is still happening.
