Kirby Medical Group is excited to partner with Mothers’ Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes to provide a drop off location in Monticello, IL. Milk depots are designated sites where approved donors drop off their frozen breast milk. The depot then helps transport collected donor milk donations to Milk Bank WGL for screening and processing. Milk depots safeguard the donor human milk supply for babies and families that need it most!
Join them in celebrating the grand opening of the milk depot! The celebration will take place in the Community Outreach Room at Kirby Medical Center on March 22nd from 2-3pm. If you are interested in learning more about this service and how you can become a breast milk donor, or just want to celebrate, they encourage you to attend. Milk and cookies will be provided. This is a family friendly event.
