Welcome to the CRCE Pool Party with the UIUC Mermaids!!! The Mermaid Pool Party is a once a semester event that is designed to get younger children (age 2-7) in the water for the first time to play games with their parents and Campus Recreation Staff members and introduce beginning swimmers to the water to make them more comfortable.
During the pool party, the group will offer toys to play with in the pool, arts and crafts stations, and a face painting station for kids to participate in. Miss Mika from UIUC Adventure Recreation will be reading a story at the end of the night to all participants!!!
This event is $5 per child and parents are required stay with their children during the entire event. Parents MUST be in the water with their kids if their kids are under the age of 7 years old and want to swim with the Mermaids!
