Back for one weekend! Escape the past and get back to the present before time runs out.
If you missed the Library’s escape room in December and January, you have one last chance to try it. Help them end the Library’s year of 150th Anniversary celebration with a time travel escape room experience! Gather a team of 1-4 people and travel back to the opening of the Library’s building, but when something goes wrong, can you put the pieces together to return to the present?
This 15-minute escape room is for ages 8 and up. Registration is required, and only one person on the team needs to register for the time. Registration opens on May 12. Register here: https://urbanafreelibrary.libnet.info/event/13270096
This escape room was designed and built by students from the University of Illinois Informatics 418 class taught by CU Community Fab Lab staff. The 150th Anniversary celebrations are generously supported by The Urbana Free Library Foundation.
The Library is committed to making programs accessible for all. If you need an accommodation to attend a program, please let the Library know at least two weeks in advance. To request an accommodation, contact the Programming and Outreach Manager via email at programming@urbanafree.org or via phone at 217-367-4057.
Please remember that events may be canceled or rescheduled last minute due to unpredictable weather or other factors. We encourage you to reach out to event organizers before heading out to an event to verify it is still happening.
