A community tradition in Champaign is the Nativity Walk at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. On the corner of Devonshire & Prospect Avenues you will see a live reminder of the true meaning of Christmas with their Live Nativity scene.

In years’ past, there have been live animals, including a camel and real people portraying Mary and Joseph.
Afterwards, visit Fellowship Hall for free refreshments of coffee, hot cocoa, cider, cookies, and other desserts.

You can also use this as a photo opportunity for your Christmas cards by taking a picture with one of their live nativity characters or inside their sanctuary in front of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas!
