Join the Forest Preserve’s Natural Resources staff to recognize and honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The event will start in the Museum of the Grand Prairie education room for a talk from Natural Resources and Education staff.
Then we will move across the road to Buffalo Trace to collect native seeds that will be used in future restorations around the preserves. All tools provided. Long pants and closed-toed shoes required.
All ages welcome but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
