Illinois Athletics is proud to host FamILLy Day sponsored by Busey Bank once again at Memorial Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 5:30 p.m. The feature movie, which was selected through voting on @IlliniAthletics, will be Spiderman: No Way Home. It will begin at 7 p.m. on the Memorial Stadium videoboard.
5:30-6:30 p.m. – FamILLy Day Activities in Memorial Stadium
Fans can get their first look at this year’s Fighting Illini football, soccer, and volleyball teams by interacting with student-athletes on the Memorial Stadium field. Student-athletes will be signing autographs, participating in in various athletic drills, and enjoying inflatables with kids.
7:00 p.m. – Movie Night! – Spiderman: No Way Home
Admission is free and the first 500 fans will receive a free Illini popcorn bucket sponsored by Busey Bank (popcorn available for purchase for $5). Fans are encouraged to bring their own food, drinks* (no alcohol) and blankets onto the field.
Popcorn, candy, pretzels, soda and water will be available for purchase at the concession stands in the Great West Hall. Lawn chairs will not be allowed on the field, but fans will be allowed to sit in the stands on the west side of the stadium as an alternative to watching from the field.
FamILLy Day Information
- Free parking will be available in the Northwest and Northeast parking lots of State Farm Center, as well as Lot E14.
- Guests can enter through Gate 24 on the west side of Memorial Stadium; this gate will serve as the only entrance to FamILLy Day.**
- Admission is free.
- The first 500 fans will receive a free Illini popcorn bucket.
- Lawn chairs are not permitted on the field
*Alcohol will not be allowed.
**Bags will be searched when entering the event.
