Join them on Saturday, October 4, 2025, when they’ll be highlighting the best of the humanities on campus, including academic departments, student groups, research, resources, and alumni stories.
While the activities and offerings will be designed primarily for current undergraduate students, they warmly welcome prospective students and anyone interested in learning more about the vibrant humanities ecosystem at Illinois.
At the resource fair, stop by 30+ tables for information about humanities courses, majors, minors, certificates, student organizations, and career and other services. Later, learn about humanities departments and research through immersive activities, such as a virtual reality language experience, demos of a printing press and wellness robot, student lightning talks and readings of creative work, a library exhibition, and a virtual conversation with philosophers. Hear from a panel of alumni with career experiences ranging from DC Comics to first generation student advocacy–all sharing what they did with their humanities majors.
